'Nail Polish' Movie Ending Explained: Here's All You Need To Know About The Crime Thriller

"Nail Polish" is the latest movie of ZEE5, a court thriller. It talked about the dark case of the killing of 38 immigrant children. After the case started, it penetrated into the mysteries of multiple characters, so that the case could not be resolved and the justice could not be extended. However, there are more orgasms. If the ending of this movie puzzles you and your mind is frantically looking for the answer, please continue reading to find out its explanation.

The nail polish on ZEE5 is an interesting court mystery that takes us on a very unexpected journey. This is a different court drama. After Ver Singh (Manav Kaul) was accused of raping and murdering 2 (or as you know, maybe 38) immigrant children, the lawyer Jasingh struggled to prove his innocence, and the lawyer Ami Kumar struggled to prove otherwise.

Here’s a detailed explanation of how Nail Polish ends:

Multiple witnesses were shown, and the evidence showed that it is still unknown whether Veer Singh committed the murder. This is what most of the movie says. However, after Verer injured the warden of the prison and was beaten by them, he suffered tremendous trauma. Because of this, his mind suddenly popped up, occupying the identity of a completely different woman named Charu Reina. Or at least, this is what Verer wants everyone, including the audience, to believe

Charu’s backstory

Although everyone thought that Veer was just acting, trying to show everyone his mental instability, when he didn't stop acting even in front of Jaisingh, he would be exposed. Jessingh also tried to persuade Vier that this would not help the case and that he should give up the behavior, but Veer (or now, Charou) did not understand what he was talking about. At this point, and also when prisoners sexually abuse Charu (or Ver?), the audience is convinced that identity separation is definitely not an act. The psychiatrist (Shivkumar Subramaniam) in the film told the judge and lawyer that the identity barrier may be caused by trauma. For Vie, this trauma is (false) accusations and prison assaults.

When he was hypnotized in his Chalu identity, we discovered his past and how his mind got this identity. This is a 32-year-old woman from Kashmir. After the incident was exposed, Jaisingh requested a mistrial, which meant that the case would be deemed invalid because his client Veer Singh no longer exists. Prosecutor Amit Kumar tried to persuade the court one last time that all this was an act. However, the judge ruled that it favored Jaisingh and put the case into a coma.

Drama in the courtroom

The parents of the dead child did not get their justice. Although, the judge also announced that Veer Singh will stay in the government's mental hospital forever, if he returns to his true identity, even for a second, the case will restart from the same point.

However, if you watch Manav Kaul in the movie carefully while sitting in court to listen to his hearing, he has a habit of restlessness with paper weight. Moreover, when he became Chalu, he always sat scared and timidly. As soon as the final judgment was announced, we saw Chalu pick up the paper again. Where does this comfort come from? Of course, the last glance Veer/Charu gave the camera holding the paper weight made us all crazy. This last glance and the weight of the paper really tell us that Charlu, the timid personality is the play of all Verer, so he can save his crime from life imprisonment. How he experienced all the trauma in jail as Charu, but didn't get it back, can explain how big a mentally ill he is. If he really killed, tortured and abused children, he would be a mentally ill person, and he could even endure his own pain just to live and get out of prison.

A fair verdict?

However, this may also mean that Chalu chose the paper weight out of curiosity, and the identity is not a lie. Or, Veer's disease of separation of identity disorder is real, and this is the appearance of the third character. This ending reminds us of the movie "Shutter Island", leaving us with a big problem. Nevertheless, the possibility of Veer's play is the most legitimate explanation.
