Koi Jaane Na review: Just watch the painful movie of Amir Khan's song
Koi Jaane Na commented: The title of this movie is prophetic, because no one seems to know what happens every minute or two hours of pain.
Koi Jaane Na movie cast: Kunal Kapoor, Amyra Dastur, Neha Mahajan, Ashwini Kalsekar, Atul Kulkarni, Karim Hajee, Achint Kaur, Vidya Malvade, Aditya Lakhia, Raj Zutshi
Koi Jaane Na movie director: Amin Hajee
Koi Jaane Na movie director: Amin Hajee
Director Amin Haji established some conflicts in the first half, but all the characters were hidden behind the space. What will happen to Kunal Kapoor’s ex-wife and publisher? What is their motivation for hiring detectives? Why did they frameKunal Kapoor? Why did Kunal Kapoor hide all the prostheses? What was the result of the murder of an influential person in the first act of the movie? Even after watching the entire movie, there are some questions that no one can answer.
What Is the Story About?
Story: A writer is struggling with a failed marriage. A writer’s neighborhood has brought him a big trouble because a blackmailer threatened to reveal his true identity. At the same time, he met a beautiful young girl with a dark past. Together, can they defeat the devil and live happily?
"Koi Jaane Na" translates to no one knows. So predict, you think, as long as the movie opens. Because no one seems to know exactly what happened, every minute of pain is two hours.
Kunal Kapoor is a handicapped writer. Said that the writer vengeful ex (Vidya Malvade) wrinkled his face and declared war. Why does she hate him so much? do not know.
The only way for our friends to save themselves is to go to the picturesque Panchgani hut and produce another to inspire me. The trouble is, he has a secret, which has to do with cheap thrillers, not a book he is loved by his flattering fans. How long can he hide?
Whether he likes it or not, a group of people come out to dig out the truth. Disi Girl and the Dark Past (Amyra Dastur), Luster Winch and the Sliding ‘pallu’ (Neha Mahajan), scowly cop (Ashwini Kalsekar), Smart Mouth full-time detective, part-time journalist (Karim Haji), invisible photographer (Aditya Lakia), shock ball agent in mahogany hair (Achint Kaur), kind doctor with long gaze ( Artur Kulkani), and Labrador who went to the name charm.
So, what is this about? A writer seeking inspiration? What are the advantages of pulp fiction and serious, noble literature? Injured young women looking for closure? Why did the corpses start to pile up? Why is there a portrait of a crusader wearing a hat in the secret room? Why did the killer who guided Jack Nicholson wander around in a hoodie?
Are there writers working? Is this really a movie? Who knows? The only thing I can tell you with conviction is that Amir Khan is still as sexy as before, and his and Elli AvRam item numbers are the only things worth seeing in the movie. And laboratory
Comment: Kabir Kapoor (Kunaal Kapoor) is a famous writer. He is a Youtuber during the day and the savior of the world at night. He pretends to explain to those who are in trouble and prevents crime. But his own life is a mess. His ex-wife (Vidya Malvade) deceived him, and now he wants to sue him. After that, squeeze him to a huge alimony. She now wants his "Katara" jeep and Panchgini's bungalow, which is also the labyrinth of Kabir's deep dark secrets. She even hired a cunning detective and reporter Rich Rosario (Karim Haji) to blackmail Kabir. In all this, a beautiful young backpacker Suhana (Emilia Dastur), on the way to Panchgini, he really integrated into Kabir's life. Unsurprisingly, this accidental meeting quickly developed into love and life, but suddenly, a series of murders shook the sleepy hill station and their lives, and Kabir became the main suspect.
The above is clear, because people can describe the intricate and distorted story of this movie, but be careful, this is just the beginning. When the writer and director Amin Hajee relaxes his imagination and pen, we are bombarded by shady characters and plot distortions that are constantly falling into their own chaos. However, it is commendable that Haji started with a conspiracy, and of course, the project number is characterized by a slim Ellie Avram seducing a super Soviet Amir Khan.
Progress was slow in the first half, showing some hope, but the narrative became increasingly unstable. The execution of the story is still quite low-key, trying to prove its many characters and their motives. For example, Kabir’s seductive butler Bindia (Neha Mahcan) is nothing more than slipping her palu and sneaking onto her boss. Her contribution to the narrative is zilch, like a zigzag battery, and it doesn't add up. More characters are introduced until the climax, trying to make it a mind curvy, but the slow pace makes "Koi Jaane Na", a boring watch. In addition, a series of forgotten songs made things worse.
Kunal Kapoor and Amilia Dastur performed well in their roles, and despite the obvious flaws in their writing, they still have a certain amount of leeway. Ashwini Karsekar is very influential because the hard-line police and Atul Kulkarni were wasted badly.
Finally, the most convincing part about this is its title "Koi Jaane Na", which perfectly sums up the feeling after watching it.
Koi Jaane Na certainly has potential, but it seems like the protagonist, who is the writer, and even the director of the film is suffering from the writer's block. The limited action scenes are well done, but the premise is that it is possible to instill multiple actions and chase sequences, which may benefit the movie. Speaking of acting, Kunal Kapoor slipped well and played the role of a famous writer. Due to the writer's obstacle, he could not write a sequel to his favorite inspirational novel. Through his role, the producer also tried to create undue pressure on the writer in subtle ways to come up with any successful sequel, even if it was against their wishes. Amyra Dastur did a good job of playing a version of herself-free and easy for most of the characters in the movie. However, it was Ashwini Karsekar who stole the show as a Dabangg police officer. She goes from words to characters, and speaks some of the best lines of movies and the greatest conviction. Karim Haji’s character is half-baked and needs better writing—whether in dialogue or character sketching.
In summary, Koi Jaane Na is a thriller without any actual stimulation, with predictable narratives and clichés in the mental space. The one-line plot might make us hooked on the screen, but it was lost when it was translated into a script. Watch Koi Jaane Na only if you want to see Amir Khan back on the big screen 4 years later, otherwise, wait for it to premiere on OTT to show that you kill some time on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
