 Zee5 announces the suspense thriller "Rat Baki hai" and Paoil Dam, Anup Soni

The film revolves around a night, 12 years after two estranged lovers met in a strange environment.

Mumbai: The streaming platform ZEE5 announced its next feature on Wednesday, a suspenseful thriller called "Rat baki hai". The ZEE5 original is based on Atul Satya’s popular drama "Ballygunje-1990", which is set in Rajasthan.

The movie features actors Paoli Dam, Anup Soni and Rahul Dev and is described as a story of "love, deception and recovery". It revolves around one night, 12 years after two estranged lovers met in a strange situation.

One is running as a murder suspect, and as the story unfolds, unexpected twists and turns will stun the audience, according to the official summary. Avinash Das will direct the streaming of this movie. Dam launched the digital version for the first time in the popular "Kaali" franchise of ZEE5, and she said she is happy to work with the platform again.

"I have a very good connection with the ZEE5 family. I first introduced numbers with the popular 'Kaali' franchise, and now I am back to 'Raat Baaki Hai'. I have been shooting in the palaces of Rajasthan. The movie has a noble dark atmosphere. The story revolves around a golden night and turns into an unexpected turning event and twists and turns," the actor said in a statement.

The team started shooting the film in Rajasthan last week. It is expected to premiere on ZEE5 later this year.

Zee5 Cancels The Launch Of ‘Raat Baaki Hai’!!!

Domestic OTT Zee5 cancelled the release of the highly anticipated crime thriller online series "Raat Baaki Hai", which was supposed to be released yesterday on November 20, 2020. This new Indian Ultra show should star Paoli Dam, Anup Soni and Rahul Dev.

There are many reasons for this, but we have not received an official statement from the Indian streaming platform. According to some people, this may be Zee5's CEO Tarun Katial who suddenly resigned from his position in the OTT streaming service. Or, it may be the fact that the series was leaked online and many people watched it online. Regardless, whatever the reason, Zee5 even pulled teases from its social media accounts.

This series is set around the themes of love, deception and revenge. It revolves around one night when two estranged lovers Karthik and Vasuki  met under a special event 12 years later. One of them is a murder suspect, and as the story unfolds, unexpected twists and turns will change the narrative.

The team started filming in Rajasthan in mid-September and finished production in early October. This wonderful thriller is based on the famous drama "Ballygunj 1990" and the story is based on Rajasthan. ‘Rangbaaz’ script writer Siddharth Mishra wrote the script for the Ott series, and the writer and director of "Anarkali of Aara" directed the web series
