 QUBOOL HAI 2.0 SEASON 1 REVIEW : A COMPLEX LOVE STORY WITH A CROSS-BORDER TWIST                                                           

What Is the Story About?

Story: Zoya Farouqi  the escaped bride, accidentally ran into a stranger named Assad Ahmed Khan. Since then, unfortunate events have continued to keep them together. However, this is more than can be seen with the naked eye, or will it become a simple love story?

Comment: Set in Belgrade (the capital of Serbia), the opening scene of "Qubool Hai 2.0" shows that Assad Ahmed Khan (Karan Singh Grove) is preparing to represent India in a shooting competition. On the other hand, Zoya Farucci (Sulbijoti) is preparing for her wedding with Salman Ansari (Angitraje). But she is not satisfied with the upcoming marriage and decides to escape on D-day. This is where Zoya and Assad cross paths and take a huge turn in their lives. If this is not all, there is more, because Assad is also an undercover agent, he is fighting Pakistan for his country, and Zoa’s only goal is to reach Islamabad and meet her father . Can they accomplish their respective tasks, or will love bloom between the two?

This 10-episode series directed by Ankush Mohera and Geran Barrett is an interesting romantic drama. The original plot revolves around Salman chasing Zoa because he wants to catch her hook or liar. But in the second half, the focus shifted to Assad-Zoya's chemistry and respective tasks. Mr. Abigian Jia wrote this story in such an interesting way that each episode ends with a cliff, and therefore, let the audience watch the subsequent episodes frantically. However, there is a problem with the flow of events, for example, in one scene Assad is trying to get rid of the corpse, and in the next moment, his clothes are changed, he is with Zoya. In other sequences, Assad also appeared suddenly to save Zoya, which is unconvincing. In general, if the editing is stricter, the effect will be much better.                                                                      

Almost ten years later, the popular Jodie-Assad and Zoya-on Zee TV's daily soap opera "Qubool Hai" have returned to a brand new profile picture. Their OTT version is "Qubool Hai 2.0". Karan Singer Grover is a perfectionist, he suffers from Ocd (obsessive-compulsive disorder), and wants everything to be flawless. He is as impressive as Mr. Khan, and of course, the girls will be drowsy again for the appearance of this big screen. However, he carried the same expression, which was disappointing throughout the process. On the other hand, Sulby is the opposite of him. She never planned anything and did what she wanted without considering the consequences. However, the opposite is attracted, right? They are too, but unfortunately, the chemical composition on their screen is not hot enough.

Among the remaining actors, Arif Zakaria played Zoa’s father, General Bakhtiar Farrucci, and Mandila Bedi played Damini Sud, head of the Ministry of National Security of India. Lilit Dubey as Puffy, Gupreet Bedi as Sana, and Ankit Raje as Salman Ansari, helping to push the narrative forward.

What’s different in  Qubool Hai 2.0  Season 1

"Qubulhai 2.0" has its moments, but the edges are rough. In short, this is a decent one-time watch with interesting bends and unpredictable storylines on the road                                                                             

The show begins with the fascinating title sequence of Qubulhai 2.0. This song perfectly captures the essence of the show and sets the right mood for this #EternalLove story. The exhibition takes the beautiful city of Belgrade in Serbia as the background. First of all, let us remind people of characters and their behaviors nostalgic. Although Zoya said part of her buzzword "Allah Myan", Assad was shown as an angry young man with OCD.

When Zoya Farouki prepared to prepare for her "Nika" with a wealthy and powerful bodybuilder, she felt that she could not get through the difficulties. In fact, she wants to see her father, who has been in contact with her after so many years. The scene where she remembers her father also reminds us of OG QuboolHai because it uses the same music used in the TV prequel.

On the other hand, Assad Ahmed Khan is the most famous and successful sharpshooter in India. He is competing in Belgrade. We were also introduced to Assad’s family, his mother Dilshad (Shalini Kapoor) and sister Najma (Nehalaksmi Al). In an interesting turning event, Zoya eloped from her marriage to reunite with her father, and eventually bumped into Assad. Next is a thrilling car chasing Assad and Zoya trying to get rid of some mobs.

Following Salman's aisle, Assad seemed to be the only one who could protect Zoa's safety. When they checked into the hotel, they could see the cute jokes between them. The evergreen combination of Messy Zoya and Clean Freak Assad has just refreshed our memories. At the same time, we can see that from the moment Assad and Zoa met, Damini Sud (Mandila Bedi), a vigilant head of the National Securities Commission of India (National Securities Commission of India) ) Has been paying close attention to them.

Due to Assad's popularity, Salman's thugs finally found their place and arrived at the hotel to take Zoa. Assad rushed in like a knight in shiny armor to rescue her. AFTER THE BEARS TRIED TO CATCH ZOYA SEVERAL TIMES AND FAILED, THE TWO THEN WENT TO THE AIRPORT TO GO HOME. ALTHOUGH THEY DECIDED TO BREAK UP, IT SEEMS THAT FATE HAS SOME OTHER PLANS FOR THEM. ALTHOUGH ASSAD WAS A LITTLE SURPRISED AT FIRST, ZOYA IS A PAKISTANI, BUT AS A GENTLEMAN, HE DECIDED TO BOOK A CHARTER FLIGHT TO ILLUSTRATE DAMSEL IN DISTRESS. AS THEY BID ADIE FOR THE THIRD TIME IN A ROW, ASSAD KNEW THAT ZOYA’S LIFE WAS IN DANGER AND WAS EAGER TO SAVE HER.

AFTER GOING THROUGH A SEQUENCE FULL OF ACTIONS ON THE PLANE, THE TWO FINALLY ARRIVED IN PAKISTAN. ONLY THEN DID ASSAD KNOW THE TRUE IDENTITY OF ZOYA FAROUKI, THE DAUGHTER OF GENERAL BAKHTIAR FAROUKI. AFTER A BITTER MEAL WITH THE INDIAN AND PAKISTANI PATRIOTS, GENERAL BAKHTIAR CHALLENGED ASSAD WITH A ROUND OF SHOOTING. IN AN EMERGENCY, BULLETS STARTED FLYING IN THE AIR, AND THE HOUSE APPEARED TO BE ATTACKED. AT THIS TIME ASSAD'S TRUE FACE WAS REVEALED.

NEXT IS A SERIES OF REVELATIONS ABOUT ASSAD'S IDENTITY, INTENTIONS, AND PARTICIPATION IN MISSIONS. ALTHOUGH EVERYONE SUSPECTED THAT ASSAD WAS BEHIND THE DEATH OF GENERAL BAKHTIAR, ZOYA BLINDLY TRUSTED HIM. DESPITE HIS MISSION AND HIS LOVE FOR THE COUNTRY, ASSAD SEEMS UNABLE TO CONTROL HIS EMOTIONS WHEN HE IS NEAR ZOYA.

OBVIOUSLY, THERE IS A MASTERMIND BEHIND ALL THESE EVENTS. ALTHOUGH WE KNOW WHO CONTROLLED THE MISSION FROM INDIA, PAKISTAN’S CORRESPONDING MISSION REMAINS A MYSTERY TO THE END. IN A SERIES OF EVENTS THAT FOLLOWED, ASSAD AND ZOYA FINALLY ARRIVED AT THE AIRPORT AFTER A BIG SECRET WAS REVEALED. WILL ZOYA STAND BY HER #ETERNALLOVE? NOW THIS IS A QUESTION YOU WILL HAVE TO ANSWER AFTER WATCHING THE SHOW.

KARAN SINGH GROVER REALLY HAS THE ROLE OF ASSAD AHMED KHAN. DESPITE THE SEVEN-YEAR GAP, THE ACTOR NAILED EVERY ASPECT OF THE ROLE, FROM HIS OCD TO HIS SERIOUS EXPRESSION, AND EVEN WHAT HE CALLED "MISS FAROUKI". IT SEEMS THAT HIS WORKOUTS AND TRAINING HAVE PAID OFF, BECAUSE THE ACTOR ALSO LOOKS GREAT IN THE ACTION SEQUENCE.

SULBY JYOTI’S LOOKING BRILLIANT BUBBLE TWEETED ZOA AND THE MOMENT SHE SAID: "ALLAH! MR. KHAN, WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU? SULBY PERFORMED THIS AS EASILY AS SHE DID WHEN SHE AIRED THE SHOW ON TV ROLE. MESSY BEHAVIOR, CONSTANT CHATTER, EVERYTHING IS PICKED UP BEAUTIFULLY BY THE ACTRESS.                                                                    

Not only the protagonist of the show, but even the supporting role also performed well.  Arif Zakaria was exceptional as Pakistan’s defence minister, Gen.Bhakhtiyar Farooqi. Some noteworthy performances were given by Shalini Kapoor as Dilshad, Asad’s Mother, Nehalaxmi Iyer as Najma Khan aka Tamatar, Asad’s sister, Daksh Sharma as Rizwan, Najma’s boyfriend and Ashwin Mushran as Asad’s coach. Gurpreet Bedi beautifully essayed the role of Sana, Zoya’s friend, while Prateik Deshpande played Zoya’s loving brother Zoheb Farooqi. Amir Ahmed played Zoya’s childhood friend, Haider, while popular actress Lillete Dubey essayed the role of Zoya’s aunt, Nilofer.

The show was beautifully shot and some amazing frames were shot. Although the shooting department and film photography left a deep impression on us, the bang in the direction created a clear storyline. The action sequence is precisely edited, which just adds to the entire experience of watching this show.

Watching Qubulhai 2.0 is an experience in itself. The fascinating title song used as the background sheet music is pure brilliance. In addition to the beautiful locations in Serbia and elsewhere, the location created by the art team also deserves applause. This cross-border
